The build may be slow but it works, it does take a little getting used to. Arahhsh is very stingy with his drops. It took me 2 days of farming this guy for him to finally drop the shield but I did get it.
Thanks Johno77 for a great build.

Anyone know a good Mountainclub farming build using faction only skills? I've tried it a couple of times using a lot of adrenaline based skills. I'm a W/Mo, using Mending, so I try to use adrenaline instead of energy.
I was using a build something like...Battle Rage{e}, Tiger Stance, Dismember, Axe Rake, Executioner's Strike, Sprint, Endure Pain, Mending. I couldn't really get this one to work...too slow and I could heal good enough fighting Yeti's.
Any suggestions? I'm pretty new to the game...been playing about a month now...learning daily. Thanks for any help.

Im sorry, but I cant get this build to work.
I can get past the first groups + on to the boss. But my life drops so fast even with dolyak + the ripostes, that by the time i get roudn to healing signet (which drops armour even more) im dead before it casts.
Admittedly, im using a victos bulwark + sskai's sword, so im wondering if thats why, but still, being blinded so much means u gain hardly any adrenaline, and what u do get u get slowly due to BS. But its cos of this that riposte doesnt charge fast enough to keep avoiding attacks often enough before I get flattened... help? lol

this is a very good build but taking a hench assasin makes it just that little bit easier if u send him in to the yeti before the bridge HE WILL DIE in a matter of 5 seconds but u have saved some hp before the battle.

I farm him every now and then. Like most pple find, he's VERY stingy with his drops if he drops anything at all. None the less, the build that the OP had gave works very well.....it take some getting used to and is somewhat slow, but it works.
I use Auspitious Parry for my elite skill and it always works (even with blind on). You gain adrnaline from an attack so even if your not gaining adren from your attacks, their attacks charge AP (Auspitious Parry) for you. Make sure you have Dolyack on you as much as possibe and DON'T forget to keep Scorge Healing on him ALL OF THE TIME!!!!!
If you are having trouble getting past the group just over the bridge because you get flogged with cripple, throw on Dolyak, and spam D.Rip, AP, Rip, Heal sig, while attacking one of them to keep your energy up.
Once cripple and dolyak have worn off, sprint down to Arrahhsh to break agro from the other group.
Like the OP said, if there is another Warrior yeti there, kill him before you attempt Arrahhsh. Use Scourge first, Dolyak then spam D.Rip, AP, Rip, Heal sig, AP, Rip, D.rip, Heal sig, Dolyak, Scourge..........try to watch their attacks to time it so that the other yeti is taking all the dmg from the Ripostes. Once the other warrior yeti is dead, do the same for Arrahhsh until he's done.
It's really easy once you get the hang of it. I hope this helps any of you that are having trouble.
TY to the OP for this GREAT thread. I got 3 shields so far, one for myself and 2 that I sold for 25k.....so great build and good spot....take forever though

Drops signifigantly reduce when you duo something. Think about it. You obviously get 50/50, but only IF it drops. If being the key word. Soloing is the most efficient for farming

He dropped it for me twice in a row, and then again the next day. I killed him like 12 times before he dropped it and then a few more times and got teh 3rd after the 17th or so kill.
Very nice build indeed. I also find it easier if I get the blessing off the priest NPC and use a vampiric sword, I use victos. Very good indeed.
Thanks

I had no idea you could get a blessing from those guys! I had already done the run a few times without it but the blessing definately makes easier. I got my shield after 9-10 tries.

I've done it about 30 times and I got the shield 4 times. First time I went with a full group of henchmen and got it. The other times I soloed it and got it 3 other times, so yes this build works. Takes a while though.

Wow...I really didn't think it would be that slow. But it works. I got the shield first time.
Nice build.
BTW, both Dwayna's blessings and the priests blessing make this so much easier

I can't outheal the dmg they do with Healing Signet only.
He's still doing like tons dmg once in a while :s
Also getting past the group over the bridge. When stepping into Viper's + yeti's battering on you. Dolyaks, Ripostes and Healing signet just doesn't work. You take too much dmg when Dolyak's is worn off.
And Boss + Yeti warrior is just killing you easily, even with Ausp. Parry and Ripostes. You can't keep them up for every blow. Once Dolyak's is gone you're doomed.
The last picture shows the boss on the bridge. How did you get him there?
